PONCA CITY — Ponca City used seven pins and a technical fall to defeat Enid, 63-15 in a wrestling dual Thursday night.

The Plainsmen got falls from Leslie Fortner at 150 and Seth Melvin at 215 and a decision from Holden Belile at 157.

“We did show some improvement,’’ said Enid coach Trent Holland.

The Plainsmen will go to the Jay Hancock Memorial Tournament in Yukon Friday and Saturday.
