Matt Siebert scored 12 points as top-seeded Oklahoma Bible Academy boys beat Timberlake 62-30 in the first round of the KOFM Classic Thursday at the Chisholm Trail Expo Center Coliseum.

Thirteen different players scored for the Trojans, who rebounded from a 50-36 loss to Pioneer Tuesday.

“After the poor showing against Pioneer, I challenged the whole team to tune up the intensity and they sure did tonight,’’ said OBA coach Devon Schafer in an interview with KOFM Radio after the game.

Drew Fischer scored nine points to lead the Tigers, who dropped to 0-4.

The top-seeded and two-time defending champion Lady Pirates got 17 points from Brenna Burnett and 12 from Kaylee Wilkins to raise their record to 7-0. Kaley Stratton led OBA with 10 points.

PIONEER 79, MOORELAND 41 (B)

The Mustangs raced out to a 26-9 first-quarter lead and never looked back in having their highest offensive output of the season. Grant Diel had 21 points for Pioneer (4-0) while J.P Mullen had 10. Dustin Searcy led Mooreland with 19 points.

CASHION 60, PIONEER 44 (G)

Sierra Thorp scored 19 points as the Lady Wildcats handed Pioneer’s girls their first loss of the season. Cashion used a 23-11 second quarter spurt to go up 30-21 at halftime. Katie Manning had 16 points for PHS.

DALE 49, CASHION 45 (B)

Jimmy Doolin had 15 points as Dale spoiled the Cashion boys’ debut in the tournament.

MOORELAND 49, RIPLEY 28 (G)

Mooreland held Ripley to only 12 points through three periods in raising its record to 3-0 overall. Aubrey McDowell had 14 points for the Lady Bearcats, while Taelor Ladd had 14 points for the Lady Warriors.

HENNESSEY 40, TIMBERLAKE 38 (G)

Evan Shimanek (17) and Aven Sanders (10) combined for 27 points as the 1-1 Lady Eagles recorded their first victory of the season. Chelsey Parks had 11 points for the 3-1 Lady Tigers.

RIPLEY 45, HENNESSEY 39 (B)

The Eagles (1-1) couldn’t overcome a 21-13 halftime deficit in losing a rematch of last year’s championship game won by Ripley.

The Warriors raised their record to 7-0 behind 18 points from Reed Myers.

Ben Aguirre led Hennessey (1-1) with nine points.
