Kilian scores TD for Chiefs
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Medford's James Kilian, making his pro debut, scored on a 5-yard run for Kansas City in the Chiefs' 27-16 loss to the Minnesota Vikings Friday.
Pom squad golf fund-raiser Aug. 27
The Enid High School pom and cheer squad annual fund-raising golf tournament is set for Aug. 27 at Meadowlake Golf Course.
Entry fee is $50 per player or $200 per team. The format is a four-person scramble, and play begins at 8 a.m.

Warrior Invitational taking entries
Registration is under way for the fourth-annual Warriors Invitational softball tournament Aug. 19-20 at Kellet Park.
The tournament is a benefit for Colby Gantz and Northwest Oklahoma Juvenile Diabetes.
Entry fee is $100. Donations will be accepted as well.
There will be home run, base running and throwing contests throughout the tournament, as well as a cookout.

EHS track, harrier boosters to meet
The booster clubs for the Enid High School track and cross country programs will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at the high school lectorium.
Meet the Longhorns today
The Chisholm All-Sports Booster Club will be holding Meet the Longhorns Day today at Longhorn Community Stadium.
There will be an intrasquad football scrimmage at 8:59 a.m. Football players will have their pictures taken at 1 p.m. Cross country pictures will be taken at 9 a.m., followed by cheerleaders at 9:30 a.m.
The booster club will be holding a cookout at 6 p.m. The boosters will provide hamburgers and hot dogs.
Any business or Chisholm parent who hasn't turned in their ad for the football program needs to do so by today.
