Volunteers from across the country are busy building a new home on West Randolph this week for a couple returning to Enid after 13 years of missionary work in the Philippines.

The church will host a spaghetti fellowship dinner and fundraiser 6 p.m. May 25, with proceeds going to help pay down the purchase of the church building. The dinner includes spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, dessert and drink for $5 per plate. Following the spaghetti dinner, River Life is offering a three-day revival, at 7 each night, May 31 through June 2.

Walk for Jesus Ministries will host its second annual Walk for Jesus, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday at Crosslin Park. The event features a 2.1 mile walk or run, gospel music, live Christian entertainment, ministry and open mic time for testimonies and gospel music. A bouncy house, obstacle course and other games with prizes will be offered for children. A free lunch of pulled pork BBQ sandwiches, chips and water will be provided complimentary by Walk for Jesus Ministries.
