Here we are again with problems still unsolved. I thought the last election would have put an end to controversy. Now it appears the mayor is taking a page from the book of the former city manager and making decisions without sufficient input.
The raise given to the city employees runs overdue and certainly deserved.
One thing they do not have is job security. A union can protect their rights, and from the capriciousness of the city manager, the commissioners, and the mayor.
