3.8 quake rattles Manchester area

ENID, Okla. — A magnitude 3.8 earthquake was reported Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 22, 2019, near Manchester.

The quake happened at 4:03 p.m. about 4.3 miles south-southeast of Manchester, in far northern Grant County, according to U.S. Geological Survey. It was centered about 37.9 miles north-northwest of Enid. It was just below the surface.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
