Magnitude 3.6 quake shakes Perry area

PERRY, Okla. — A magnitude 3.6 earthquake shook the Perry area at noon Thursday, March 26, 2020.

U.S. Geological Survery initially reported the quake as magnitude 3.3 but upgraded it later.

The quake was recorded about 6.1 miles northwest of Perry, or 29.1 miles east of Enid. It originally was recorded at a shallow depth of about 1.24 miles.
