ENID, Okla. — Several thousand used books will be available at the upcoming Hospice Circle of Love book sale fundraiser.
The event is scheduled to take place 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday in the storage building north of the Hospice Circle of Love office, 314 S. 3rd.
Mystery novels, romance novels, science fiction, cookbooks, children’s books and religious works are among the many items available. A large variety of non-fiction works will be for sell as well, including craft magazines, biographies, hobby and self-help books and a large section covering war and other history. Most of the books are in excellent condition. Hardbacks will sell for $1 and paperback books will be only 50 cents.
The money raised at the event will help pay for the care of patients who do not have a Medicare or insurance benefit for hospice coverage. Funds will assist patients throughout the organization’s service area in Northwest Oklahoma.
"We really appreciate the community’s continued support of this event,” said event organizer Julie Nelson. This is the 31st year that Hospice Circle of Love has held a book sale fundraiser.
