A Cleo Springs man was injured Friday in a two-vehicle accident near Fairview.
John Byron Hamen, 75, was admitted to Fairview Hospital in stable condition with a leg injury, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at 10:45 a.m. Friday on U.S. 60 about one mile north of Fairview.
According to the report, Hamen was driving a 2005 Chevrolet pickup north on U.S. 60 when he ran into the back of a 2013 Mack truck driven by Jose Eleazar Trejo, 50, of Meno. Trejo was driving at a reduced speed, according to the report.
The report lists the condition of both drivers as apparently normal, while the cause remains under investigation. Trejo was wearing a seat belt, while Hamen was not.
