A Tulsa teenager was injured Tuesday night after falling out of a vehicle on a Blaine County road. Frankie R. Wanzer, 16, was taken by Canton EMS to Okeene Hospital following the accident at 6:20 p.m., then taken to St. Mary's Regional Medical Center, where he was admitted with head injuries, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report. He was listed in fair condition.

According to the report, Wanzer was a passenger in a 1995 Jeep Wrangler driven by Cody Winn, 16, of Southard.

Winn was northbound on a county road near the Oklahoma 51/51A junction when he made a left-hand turn, according to the report.

Wanzer then grabbed the vehicle's rollbar and swung outside the Jeep.

He lost his grip, according to the report, and hit the road.

The accident was investigated by Trooper Mark Williams of the Kingfisher County detachment. He was assisted by members of the Blaine County Sheriff's Department.
