A Kingfisher youth was hospitalized Wednesday when her car was struck by another vehicle in Kingfisher County.

Holly Lyn Davidson, 17, was taken by medi-flight to Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City, where she was listed in stable condition with back injuries.

The driver of a second vehicle Ryan Isaac Taylor, 19, was taken to Kingfisher Regional Hospital where he was treated and released.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports stated a 1997 GMC driven by Davidson was stopped in the roadway waiting for traffic to clear to make a left turn. A second vehicle, a 2006 Dodge pickup driven by Taylor, failed to yield and struck the Davidson vehicle.

The accident occurred about 2:30 p.m. two miles east of Reading Road at the intersection of Oklahoma 33 in Kingfisher County.
