KINGFISHER -- An Oklahoma City man was transported by air ambulance and admitted to the University of Oklahoma Medical Center on Friday after suffering injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Oklahoma 33 west of Kingfisher, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Richard Brunner, 69, suffered internal and arm injuries, according to an OHP report.
He was driving a 2000 Dodge van east on Oklahoma 33 and struck a 1997 Western Star truck and trailer from the rear as the truck was attempting to make a left turn onto a county road, according to the report.
Truck driver James Mabarry, 46, of Woodward, was not injured.
The accident occurred at 12:55 p.m., according to the report.
