City receives portrait of MLK Jr.

ENID, Okla. — All of Enid is invited to attend the 2020 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration on Saturday in the Stride Bank Center Grand Ballroom, 301 S. Independence.

The celebration kicks off with a commemorative march at 2:30 p.m., followed by the main program at 3 p.m. and dinner at 5 p.m.

Inspirational speakers, motivational music, diversity awards, poster and essay contest prizes, food and fellowship, are all promised at the event.

"Help us recognize and carry on the work of one of the world's most revered proponents of unity, love, peace, justice and equality," according to a notice for the MLK celebration.
