LAHOMA, Okla. — The town of Lahoma will host a Fourth of July celebration beginning at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the Lahoma Community Park on South Stabe Road.

Lahoma Mayor Lila Logan said festivities will begin with games open to all, including volleyball, horseshoes and bocce ball. Logan said she will be giving lessons on bocce ball for anyone who'd like to learn the grass bowling game.

Cimarron High School cheerleaders will host a fundraiser at 6 p.m., selling hot dogs, hamburgers and drinks.

After sunset, Western Enterprises will stage a fireworks display for the public.

The event is free and open to the public.
