Enid police are seeking witnesses to a fatal motorcycle accident Sunday at Van Buren and Willow.

Michael Brandan Perkins, 20, of Lahoma, was taken by ambulance to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center and later died.

Enid Police Department Sgt. Chris Bush said police still are investigating the collision, which happened at 7:09 p.m., and need to speak with witnesses who left the scene without talking to police.

“It will help clarify a few facts,” Bush said.

Bush said those who witnessed the collision are not in trouble and could have information vital to the investigation.

According to an EPD report, Brett Earhart, 19, said he was turning east onto Willow with a green arrow and as he started turning passengers in his car began yelling and he stopped.

When he stopped, he was struck by Perkins’ motorcycle, which was northbound on Van Buren, according to the report.

Witnesses who have spoken with police are asked to call if they have more information about the collision.

Anyone with information who witnessed the collision is asked to call Bush or Officer Jeff Suttmiller at 242-7000.
