Billings man dies in accident

CRESCENT, Okla. — A Billings man was killed Tuesday morning, Feb. 25, 2020, in a single-vehicle accident in Logan County.

Shawn O'Laughlin, 34, was pronounced dead at the scene of head, arm, leg and trunk injuries, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.

The accident happened at 5:30 a.m. on Oklahoma 51 just west of Rockwell in Crescent.

According to the report, O'Laughlin was driving a 1989 Dodge Ram on Oklahoma 51 when he went off the road to the left, hit an embankment, went airborne and hit a culvert. He was ejected into a creek.

His condition at the time of the accident was listed on the report as sleepy.
