ENID, Okla. — Kids of all ages will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of Christmas-themed activities 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday during the sixth annual Sleigh Rides with Santa event at Bennie's Barn, 4914 E. Rupe.

"This event hosts lots of fun for the whole family as our way of saying, 'Merry Christmas to our Enid friends and Bennie’s Barn supporters,'" said Bennie's Barn Executive Director Chip Baker. "For only $5 per person, you get to come experience sleigh rides with Santa, a hot cocoa bar, feeding and petting our therapy horses, Christmas story time, and live entertainment by musician Michael Buchanan. For an additional cost, you can also enjoy the bounce house, cookie decorating, face painting, train rides and pulled pork sandwiches."

Baker said annual T-shirts and sweatshirts will be available for purchase to further support Bennie's Barn.

"All proceeds from Sleigh Rides for Santa go to our horse rescue to help with those horses who have been abandoned and/or neglected," Baker said. "It also provides funding for our scholarship fund to help provide life changing therapy for those who can’t afford it.

"Come out and enjoy a day of family fun right here in Enid."

The event is made possible through donors: Edward Jones, Stride Bank, Sooner Success, Long, Claypole, & Blakely Law, T&C Meats and Culligans.

Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at benniesbarnenid.org for $5 per person.
