First Presbyterian Church sets vacation Bible school July 1-3

Four counselors with Dwight Mission Presbyterian Camp will help with vacation Bible school at First Presbyterian Church July 1-3.

VBS will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day for children age 3 through those going into sixth grade.

There will be Bible lessons, music, recreation, crafts, lunch and snacks.

The event is free, but those attending must register. Call 237-5413 or go by the church office at 502 W. Maine.

Eleven students from the church’s Bible class and tutoring program recently made the trip to Dwight Mission Presbyterian Camp and Retreat Center near Vian for a week of church camp for swimming, hiking, camping overnight, handmade crafts, music, Bible study, worship and games.
