ENID, Okla. — A Discount Tire will be located on the west side of the city next year.

Currently under construction at 5125 W. Garriott, west of the ALDI grocery store, a spokeswoman said the retailer will open March 15, 2019.

"We saw a unique opportunity to serve the residents of Enid, and (are) looking forward to providing excellent service to the community," spokesperson Mary Newsome said.

The 7,000-square-foot building will feature six service bays and a 1,300-square-foot showroom.

Discount Tire provides personalized service experiences to each customer, including education on how tires impact safety and hands-on tips and tricks to help make proper tire maintenance simple, Newsome said.

Free tread and tire pressure checks are offered to all drivers at Discount Tire locations, she said.

The lowest prices are guaranteed on a wide selection of leading tire brands, Newsome said.

Among the 990 stores in 34 states, there currently are 17 Discount Tire locations in Oklahoma. The company, based in Scottsdale, Ariz., operates as Discount Tire in most of the country, America's Tire in parts of California and as Discount Tire Direct in markets outside store areas.
