ENID, Okla. — Public Library of Enid and Garfield County will forgive patrons' fines, provided they do something in return.

Anyone who brings in a non-perishable, non-glass item to the library will have the fines on their account forgiven, according to a press release from the library. All food items will in turn be donated to the citywide food drive for Loaves & Fishes of Northwest Oklahoma.

Donations can be brought to the first-floor service desk of the library. Please mention they are for the Food for Fines Forgiveness program.
