Enid wrestler competes in Altus
ALTUS --?Enid wrestler Kia Castor went 1-2 in the Division 5, 134-pound class at the Altus Open Saturday.
EHS wrestling meeting today
There will be a meeting for wrestling volunteers for Enid's Oct. 29 tournament at 3 p.m. today in the wrestling room. More volunteers are welcome.
MMGA tourney begins today
The Meadowlake Men's Golf Association Past President Tournament will begin at 9 a.m. today.
The 27-hole tournament will be played with two-man teams.
Format will be nine holes alternate shot, nine holes best ball and nine holes scramble.

Swim lesson sign-ups continue
The Denny Price Family YMCA will be signing up participants for evening swimming lessons through Monday. Classes will begin Tuesday and run through Nov. 17. The classes will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. A total of eight classes will be offered from beginner to intermediate levels.
All classes have certified instructors with lifeguards on duty. Preschool classes will have a 6-1 student-instructor ratio. Youth classes will have a 8-1 ratio. Private and semi-private lessons are available.

Fund-raiser tourney coming up
The third annual Enid Baseball/Homerun Club fund-raiser golf tournament will be held Oct. 28 at Turkey Creek Golf Club in Hennessey.
The tournament will begin at 1:30 p.m., with lunch and registration preceding from 12:30-1:15.
Format is a four-person scramble.
Entry fee is $50 per player, and sponsorships are available. Fee includes green fee, cart, goody bag and lunch. Proceeds will benefit the Enid High School baseball program.

NOC Enid to hold free clinic
The Northern Oklahoma College Jets baseball team will hold a free clinic for high school players, parents and coaches from 2-6 p.m. Oct. 29.
Check-in will be at the Mabee Center. Players should bring their own equipment.
Players can register by calling NOC Enid coach Raydon Leaton at 548-2329. Players should leave their names and grades.
Participants will rotate through six stations -- batting, fielding, pitching, sportsmanship, nutrition and injuries.
