Scotch foursome Sunday
Meadowlake couples will have a scotch foursome Sunday at Meadowlake Golf Course.
Registration time is 4:30 p.m. There will be a 5 p.m. shotgun start. Fees are $6 per couple.
Format will be three holes scramble, three best ball and three alternate shot.
Couples are asked to bring a covered dish.
Players are asked to sign in by Friday.

PHS ice cream social Tuesday
The Pioneer All-Sports Boosters will hold their Meet the Mustangs Ice Cream social at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the high school cafetorium. All athletes are asked to bring a 1?2 gallon of ice cream to the school around 6:30 p.m.
The boosters will have a pancake fund-raiser at McDonald's on Maine and Van Buren on Aug. 31. The softball team will be hosting from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tickets will be sold on Meet the Mustangs Night. For more information, contact Teresa Buckles at 242-3806.
Start Smart Basketball signing up
The Start Smart Basketball program is taking sign-ups through Sept. 10 at the Denny Price Family YMCA for three to five year olds whose parent or another adult is able to attend the six, one-hour sessions with them.
There are 20 spots available for parent-child participant groups. Parents are able to work one-on-one with their child to develop basic motor skills and build confidence in a fun environment.
The program will run on three consecutive Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning 5:30 p.m. Sept. 20 at the YMCA.
EHS softball rained out again
Enid High's softball team lost its third date to the weather Tuesday when a scheduled doubleheader at Midwest City was rained out.
"We have never had a year like this,'' said Enid assistant coach Donna Bunch.
The games have been rescheduled for Sept.20.
The doubleheader which was rained out at Moore last week has been rescheduled for Oct. 3.
The home opener with Guthrie which was rained out Aug. 15 has not been rescheduled.
The Pacers, 0-2, will go to the Mustang Tournament Friday and Saturday.
Junior high tennis fete Thursday
Any seventh-, eighth- or ninth-grader interested in playing on the Enid junior high tennis team or trying out for the high school team, should meet at the Ninth Street Courts at 4 p.m. Thursday with coaches Darrell Herndon and Dan Gaston.
In case of bad weather, the meeting will be moved to room 321 of Enid High School.
NWDASA fall league fees due today
All rosters, team fees and a minimum of six player fees for the Northwest District Amateur Softball Association fall leagues must be turned in from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Kellet Park.
Team fee is $115 per team. Individual fees are $15.
League play will start Sept. 6 and run through the end of October.

There will be an organizational meeting at 7 tonight for the Northwest District Amateur Softball's junior high girls fast-pitch league at Kellet Park.
