Dance Works of Enid will present the play at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at Northern Oklahoma College’s Briggs Auditorium. General admission is $14, while reserved seating is $24.

‘A Seussified Christmas Carol’

Gaslight Theatre will present a twist on Charles Dickens’ Christmas play with “A Seussified Christmas Carol” today and Saturday.
The play is something Dr. Seuss may have created if he were allowed to have his way with the story.

Public Library of Enid and Garfield County
Public Library of Enid and Garfield County will kick off the holiday season today with Christmas carols, hot cocoa and more.
The library’s Holiday Celebration will be 6-8 p.m. and include craft vendors, Christmas movies and a visit from Santa and one of his elves. The library also will pass out reindeer food to children for Christmas Eve.

Author to hold book signing on Sunday
Marsha Kay Oldham, Enid native and Enid High graduate, will hold a signing for her book “My Loves” 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Hastings at Cleveland and Garriott.
“My Loves” is a compilation of 121 poems, some of which have been published.
Church to host Living Nativity
First Church of the Nazarene, 324 N. Cleveland, will hold its Living Drive-Through Nativity 6:30-9 p.m. Dec. 14-16.

Stewart family holiday concert set for today
The Stewart family will hold a concert to raise money for the less fortunate at 7:30 p.m. today at Grace World Outreach, 2502 W. Elm.
The concert, “Messengers of Christmas,” will include handchimes, piano, strings and vocal selections.
There is no entrance fee, but donations will be accepted, which will go toward Baby Haven, an orphan’s home.
