Churches holding Halloween events

If you’re looking for a safe alternative to trick-or-treating on Halloween or the days leading up to the day, look at the events these local churches have going on.

Emmanuel Christian School, 2505 W. Garriott, will hold its annual fall carnival 5:30-8:30 this evening. The event will feature food, prizes and fun. For more information, call Becky Reilly at (580) 747-8497.

Willow View United Methodist Church’s fall festival will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Halloween night, at 3525 W. Purdue.

Activities will include carnival games, moon walk, inflatable slide and cake walk. Everything is free. For more information, call (580) 234-4899.

Calvary Assembly of God, 2929 N. Emerson, also will hold a celebration Halloween night. Hallelujah Night is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Free food, games, cake walks, prizes and candy will be part of the event. For more information, call (580) 484-0414.
