ENID — Splash Pad

Both open daily

10th and Chestnut

1 block east of Hoover on Oklahoma

Just because the Fourth of July is over doesn’t mean it’s not time to get out and have some fun — especially for the kids.

With the heat building and the middle of the summer approaching, now is the perfect time to take the little ones out to one of two splash pads in the city.

The city’s newest splash pad is located at 10th and Chestnut and replaces one that was demolished at Gore Park to make room for the new Garfield Elementary School.

The splash pad covers 2,880 square feet and includes 20 water features and a cover over a portion of the pad.

The city’s other splash pad is on Oklahoma, a block east of Hoover. That splash pad also features many water features for children to enjoy.

Both splash pads are open 9 a.m. to around dusk.
