What's 2 Do in Enid, area this weekend

Open 7-10 p.m. Oct. 18, 24, 25, 30 and 31; 7-11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays until Halloween

Goldspot, 424 W. Walnut

Ghouls and goblins of all shapes and sizes are ready to give you a scare at Enid’s sixth annual Nightmare Warehouse, located at Goldspot, 424 W. Walnut.

A portion of the proceeds from Nightmare Warehouse go to Enid High School chorus and volleyball. Tickets are $10, or $7 for children 12 and under.

Sooner Kennel Club Dog Show

Friday through Sunday

Chisholm Trail Expo Center, 111 W. Purdue

Dogs of all shapes and sizes will compete this weekend at the annual Sooner State Kennel Club Dog Show at Chisholm Trail Expo Center.

The three-day event, which is sanctioned by American Kennel Club, is free and open to the public.

Dogs will compete in four categories: rally, obedience, conformation and agility.

Second Saturday

Downtown Enid

Main Street Enid will once again host Second Saturday, an event similar to First Friday, this Saturday on the Garfield County Court House lawn.

Enjoy shopping at downtown stores and eating at downtown restaurants. Meanwhile, the kids can enjoy free fun, including a bounce house and cotton candy.

Focus: Several events being offered for kids on Halloween

Enid will offer an array of events for children young and old to enjoy.

Oakwood Mall’s annual trick or treat event, Mall-O-Ween, will be 6-9 p.m. Oct. 31. The mall will provide a safe atmosphere for children to trick or treat, and games and inflatables also will be available.

Christ United Methodist Church, 2418 W. Randolph, will provide children another opportunity to trick or treat from 5:30-7 that evening. Children will be able to trick or treat in the pumpkin patch. Admission will be free, and there will be lots of candy stations.

Also, Greenbrier Village will hold its annual trick or treat for the community from 6-7 p.m. The event will be at Greenbrier Assisted Living, 1217 E. Garriott, and The Homes of Greenbrier, 1119 E. Garriott. The event is for children ages 12 and under. All children should be accompanied by an adult.

Finally, Nightmare Warehouse will be open 7-10 p.m. at Goldspot, 424 W. Walnut. Tickets are $10. Children 12 and under are $7.
