FOCUS: Garden Tour

Check out some neat gardens next weekend at the Master Gardener Garden Tours of Enid, hosted by the OSU Extension Office.

The tours will be 6:30-9 p.m. May 31 and 9 a.m. to noon June 1.

This year’s tour locations are: home of Diane and Jon Ford, 3619 Willow Lake Lane; home of Sandy and Truman Landwehr, 3805 Willow Lake Lane; home of Phyllis and Charles Coup, 3809 Willow Lake Lane; home of Linda and Ron Licklider, 905 Compound; Alvarado Ranch, 3226 N. Washington; and OSU Extension Center, 316 E. Oxford.

The Master Gardener Plant Sale also will occur during the tour at the Extension Center.

Tickets can be purchased at any of the six locations during the tour. Tickets are $10 for adults, and children 12 and under are free. They also can be purchased in advance at the OSU Extension Office.

Proceeds will benefit the OSU Horticulture Scholarship Fund.

EVENT [Monday]

WWII Bomber Rides, noon to 3 p.m., Enid Woodring Regional Airport. Take a ride in the A26 Lady Liberty. There are four seats per flight: $400 for aft bomb bay seats and $450 for cockpit area seats. For more information, go to, or go to the airport office.


Midgley Museum, open 1-4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 2-4 p.m. Saturday, 1001 Sequoyah. Museum holds memorabilia from the mid-19th century to the mid-20th century. For more information, go to
