'Doubt, A Parable'

Gaslight Theatre will be host to several showings of the play “Doubt, A Parable” starting today.
Set in St. Nicholas Church School in the Bronx in 1964, the play explores the power and failings of doubt, as well as the consequences of blind faith.
The cast list includes Sean Collins as Father Brendan Flynn, Christianne Chase as Sister Aloysius Beauvier, Mary Aiaka Coleman as Sister James and Dawn “Tracy” Hegwood as Mrs. Muller.
Showtimes are 8 p.m. today and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the theater, located at 221 N. Independence.
Tickets for Friday and Saturday performances cost $15 for adults and $7 for students. Cost for performances Sunday and May 8 are $10 for adults and $7 for students. For $5 off an adult ticket for tonight’s show, go to gaslighttheatre.org and enter the promo code FIRST-FRIDAY.
Tri-State Music Festival
Beginning 4 p.m., David Allen Memorial Ballpark
Venture downtown later today and enjoy an evening filled with music during the Tri-State Music Festival.
Events begin at 4 p.m. with a drumline competition at David Allen Memorial Ballpark, located east of Enid Event Center. After the drumline competition, stay at the ballpark for the start of the Tri-State Million Dollar Parade at 6.
The Grand Concert will conclude proceedings at 8 p.m. at Convention Hall. Admission is $3.
