Walking Tours of Historical Downtown Enid

Join Cactus Jack and other characters as they bring Enid’s history to life Saturday in downtown Enid.
Cactus Jack will guide the tour, which will take people around various sites downtown. At each stop, a character from Enid’s past will explain why the site is historically significant.
In order to attend, reservations must be made in advance by calling (580) 242-2233. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
If you miss this month’s tour, don’t worry: Tours are given the third Saturday of each month through September.

Movie Sing-along: ‘The Sound of Music’

Budding singers — or those just looking for some fun — are invited to join together at Gaslight Theatre on Saturday and Sunday for a fun sing-along to the movie, “The Sound of Music.”
The sing-along is an interactive show suitable for all ages. Attendees will be able to join in the choruses of “My Favorite Things,” participate in a costume party, hiss at the Baroness, boo whenever the Nazis show up and bark at Rolf.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children under 12. The show is a fundraiser for Gaslight Kids Drama Camp Scholarship fund.

Beyond Bell Ringing

Enid Salvation Army’s annual fundraiser, Beyond Bell Ringing, will be tonight at the Hoover Building. The event is a dinner, concert and auction that raises money for Salvation Army’s shelter and soup kitchen.
Enid native Kyle Dillingham is scheduled to perform at the event.
