Friday events include pie-baking contest, 10 a.m., and cupcake contest, 7 p.m. Saturday’s events include horse show, 9 a.m.; fresh salsa contest, 10:30 a.m.; frog and turtle races, 4 p.m.; and ice cream crank-off, 6 p.m. Carnival rides also will be up and running.
