Get into the fall holiday spirit on Sunday at Christ United Methodist Church and decorate a few pumpkins.
Registration will begin at 3 p.m. for the church’s pumpkin decorating contest. Judging will begin at 4 p.m., with prizes handed out following the judging.
While at the pumpkin patch, participants and other residents can take home the pumpkin of their choice. The pumpkin patch also provides an opportunity to get your child’s or family’s photo taken, or for artists to paint a fall landscape.
Regular hours for the pumpkin patch are noon to 8 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.
Haunted Tours of Waverley

Waverley Historic District will host three “haunted” tours tonight and Saturday night.
The tour includes stops at old, historic residents and “ghoulish” refreshments. Cost is $10 per adult and $5 per child age 10 and younger.
It’s recommended those interested call (580) 484-2549 to reserve tickets in advance, as each tour will accommodate only 20 people each. Attendees are advised to bring comfortable walking shoes and flashlight.

Railroad Museum of Oklahoma, 702 N. Washington, will show and display Crescent Valley Custom Train Lines on Saturday.
Lego trains also will be on display.
Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. It also is open 1-4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 2-5 p.m. Sunday.

Focus: Night of comedy slated for Oct. 30
Two stand-up comedians and a silent auction will be featured at “An All Hallows Evening of Comedy” 6:30 p.m. Oct. 30 at Cherokee Strip Conference Center.
The event is a fundraiser benefiting an Enid family living with multiple sclerosis, and the National MS Society.
In addition to the comedians and silent auction, a live pie auction will be held. The highest bidder will have the opportunity to throw the pie into the face of Attorney Dalen McVay, Undersheriff Jerry Niles, Enid Fire Chief Joe Jackson, Senator Patrick Anderson or Representative Mike Jackson.
