See collections of railroad memorabilia and many different items at Railroad Museum of Oklahoma, located at 702 N. Washington.

The museum is open 1-4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and 2-5 p.m. Sunday.

Admission is a suggested donation of $3 per person.

Focus: 4RKids Walk/Run is in September

The annual 4RKids Walk/Run will be held Sept. 22 at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.

The event will include free food, carnival rides, games, prizes, and, of course, the 5K run.

Registration for the 5K begins at 8 a.m., with the run beginning an hour later at 9. Registration for the walk starts at 9, and it starts at 10.

Admission to the activities that day is free, but donations are accepted.

Registration for the 5K is $25; with a student ID, cost is $15. You can register online at Type in “Enid” in the search box at the top of the page, then find the 4RKids Walk/Run.

All registrations include a T-shirt, and prizes will be awarded to the top qualifier in each category.

The sponsors of this year’s event include 107.1 KNID, 103.1 KOFM and Suddenlink.
