Bookstore showing ‘Veggie Tales’

Ruth’s Christian Bookstore in Oakwood Mall will host free showings of the latest Veggie Tales release, “Veggies in Space ... The Fennel Frontier.”

Showtimes are 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Author McWilliam Davis will hold a book signing 1-3 p.m. Saturday at Hastings, 610 S. Cleveland.

Davis, a resident of Fairview, will sign copies of his book, “Notes From A Farmer.”

Hennessey will hold its newest Hometown Hootenanny on Saturday.

The event, beginning at 7 p.m., will be at 525 S. Main at the Public Library Auditorium.

Garber Dinner Theater will present “The Treasure of Shiver River” April 10, 11, 12, 17, 18 and 19.
