Tour de Trykes/Twilight Criterium
Don’t miss out on all the cycling action Saturday in downtown Enid.
Tour de Trykes, an annual event that raises money for local AMBUCS projects, begins at 7:30 a.m. at David Allen Memorial Ballpark. Routes consist of distances of 14, 26 and 42 miles, as well as a two-mile family ride and a 100-kilometer race.
Later that day, bikes will fly through the middle of downtown during the Twilight Criterium. The criterium is a short race around a closed course at high rates of speed.
Other events include the OneSource Monster BMX Jam, 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., Enid Event Center; Asphalt Apes vintage bike show, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., 200 block of North Independence; and Main Street spoked art show, 5-8 p.m., same location.

Historic Downtown Walking Tour

Cherokee Strip Conference Center
Learn all about the history of Enid through a variety of colorful, historical characters Saturday downtown.
The Chisholm Trail Coalition’s Historic Downtown Walking Tours take place every third Saturday of the month, beginning at Cherokee Strip Confernce Center, 123 W. Maine. Cactus Jack takes tourists around the Square as characters from Enid’s past share their stories.
