Focus: ‘The Nutcracker’ is set for Dec. 8-9

Dance Works of Enid will present “The Nutcracker” 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Dec. 8 and 2 p.m. Dec. 9 at Northern Oklahoma College Enid’s Briggs Auditorium.

General admission is $14 and reserved seating is $24. Both tickets are available at Dancer’s Nook, 209 N. Washington. General admission tickets also are available at Enid Welcome Center, 123 W. Maine.

Santa Train, 2-4 p.m., Meadowlake Park. Enid Kiwanis Club will operate the Kiwanitrain as the Santa Train. Residents can bring their camera for free pictures with Santa. Train rides also are free. Event will occur weather-permitting. For more information about Enid Kiwanis, go to enidkiwanis.com.

CONCERT [TUESDAY]

Northern Oklahoma College Community Christmas Concert, 7 p.m., Briggs Auditorium on Enid campus. The concert will include trumpeter Charles Jeffrey of Las Vegas with special guests, pianist Doug Swanson and percussionist Billy Thompson. For more information, call NOC Enid at (580) 242-6300.
