What's 2 Do in Enid, area this weekend

ENID, Okla. — Christmas in the Village

Celebrate Christmas today like Enid residents used to back in the days of the land run and Cherokee Strip.

Humphrey Abstract’s Christmas in the Village is 5-8 p.m. today at Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center, 507 S. 4th.

At Christmas in the Village, Enid residents can send a letter to Santa, make a Christmas ornament with the schoolmarm at Turkey Creek School and shop for gifts in the Village Mercantile.

Musical performances also will be held throughout the evening in the Village Church.

Breakfast with Santa

9 a.m. Saturday

Enid High School cafeteria, 611 W. Wabash

Come have breakfast with Santa and support a good cause Saturday at Enid High School’s cafeteria.

March of Dimes’ Breakfast with Santa will start at 9 a.m. The event will include booths with craft activities, games and painting. Booths will include Merry Mats, Dress a Bear Workshop, Gingerbread Workshop, Holly Hangers and Photo with Santa.

A silent auction also will be held for those who want to contribute or get their Christmas shopping done early.

All-inclusive arm bands cost $15 and will include breakfast, photo with Santa and unlimited visits to all craft, game and inflatable booths. Breakfast is $3, photos with Santa are $5 and tickets to booths are 25 cents each.

Bedlam Bash

6:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday

Denny Price Family YMCA, 415 W. Cherokee

Fathers and sons alike can have fun and enjoy free pizza Saturday at Denny Price Family YMCA’s Father-Son Bedlam Bash.

The event will be 6:30-8:30 p.m. and will include dodgeball tournament, foosball, ping pong, climbing wall, swimming and late-night pizza.

All boys must be accompanied by a dad or male adult sponsor to participate in the events. All are encouraged to wear OU or OSU colors.
