ENID, Okla. — ‘A Seussified Christmas Carol’

8 p.m. today and Saturday

Gaslight Theatre, 221 N. Independence

Charles Dickens’ classic tale takes on a bit of a twist in this re-telling of the story of how visits by three ghosts help a town curmudgeon change his selfish ways.

The whimsical reinvention of the tale is told in rhymed couplets and may sound like what “A Christmas Carol” might have if Dr. Seuss ever had his way with the story.

Main characters include Jonathan Suttmiller as The Scrooge, Frank Baker as Jacob Marley and Tim Johnson and Daniel Johnson as narrators one and two, respectively.

Both showtimes are 8 p.m. today and Saturday. To purchase tickets, call Gaslight Theatre at (580) 234-2307 between 2-5 p.m. today, or go online at gaslighttheatre.org.

For more information and full cast list, go to the website, or find Gaslight Theatre on Facebook
