Shakespeare in the Park: 'Hamlet'

8 p.m. Today-Sunday

Government Springs Park

Bring your blanket or lawn chair and come out to Government Springs Park this weekend for Shakespeare in the Park, an annual event conducted by Gaslight Theatre.

This year marks Shakespeare in the Park’s 20th anniversary and will feature the play “Hamlet.” The classic will be performed by Monte Hunter (Hamlet), Douglas Newell (Ghost), Catina Sundvall (Queen Gertrude) and Venson Fields (King Claudius), among other actors.

As in years past, Shakespeare in the Park is free to attend.


Enid Minors/Majors Baseball

Beginning 2 p.m. today

David Allen Memorial Ballpark

Come out and support the home team at David Allen Memorial Ballpark this weekend as the Enid Majors and the Enid Minors both square off against the Bartlesville Indians and the Bartlesville Braves, respectively.

Both teams will play two games, with the Minors playing at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. and the Majors playing at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Jeremy Camp tickets on sale today

Tickets for Jeremy Camp’s “Come Alive Tour” with Kutless and Adam Cappa go on sale at 10 a.m. today at Enid Event Center.

The show is set for 7 p.m. Oct. 18.

Tickets are priced at $15, $19.50 and $29.50. They may be purchased by calling 855-TIX-ENID, going to or visiting the Event Center and Convention Hall box offices.
