Railroad Museum of Oklahoma, 1-4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, 2-5 p.m. Sunday, 702 N. Washington. The museum has a collections of railroad memorabilia. Admission is by suggested donation of $3 per person. For more information, call (580) 233-3051.

Bookstore to show VeggieTales

Ruth’s Christian Bookstore, in Oakwood Mall, will hold a free showing of VeggieTales’ “The Penniless Princess” at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

There will be a prize wheel and free prizes for kids.

Book signing is today

Chase Williams will sign copies of his book, “The Tale of the Beaver,” 12:30-3 p.m. today at Hastings, Cleveland and Garriott.

The book is about overcoming self-doubt and seeing the way you were created.

Williams is a native of Enid.

Charlie Awards upcoming

Gaslight Theatre will host its annual Charlie Awards 7:30 p.m. Aug. 25.

Social hour will begin at 6:30, with the awards ceremony following at 7:30.

The ceremony will recognize all members of production during Gaslight’s past season.

Tickets are $5. Children 12 and under are free.

A cash bar and appetizers will be provided by Panevino.
