Northern Oklahoma College Enid Observatory

Dusk Wednesdays and Thursdays

Corner of Randolph and Michael Hedges

If you have a fascination about astronomy — whether it be the moon, planets, or even nebulae — stop by Northern Oklahoma College Enid’s observatory on a clear Wednesday or Thursday night.

On those evenings at dusk, weather permitting, the college opens its telescope up to the public. Depending on the season, you can see the moon, Saturn, the Orion Nebula, clusters of stars, and perhaps even a galaxy or two.

To get to the observatory, head east on Randolph until you get to Michael Hedges. The observatory will be on your right.

For more information, or to schedule a large group for a visit, contact Bob Killam at (580) 548-2399.
