ENID, Okla. — Walk/Run 4RKids

David Allen Memorial Ballpark
Walk/Run 4RKids, an annual fundraiser for the 4RKids Foundation, is set for Saturday, beginning at 8 a.m., at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.
The foundation helps developmentally disabled children and adults in the community with vocational and educational needs.
The Saturday event will start with 8 a.m. registration for the 5K run. The run will start an hour later, at 9 a.m.
Registration for the walk starts at 9 a.m., and the walk begins at 10 a.m. The walk consists of individuals or teams making three-lap walks around the ballpark.
Following both the walk and run, free food will be provided. Carnival rides and games will be included, and prizes also will be given away.
Admission to the events following the walk and run is free, but donations will be accepted.
Walk/run participants can pre-register today by going to getmeregistered.com and searching for the event. Cost is $25 for either event and $15 with a student ID.
Registration the day of the event is $30.

Historical Walking Tour
10 a.m. Saturday
Chisholm Trail Coalition presents on Saturday its final historical walking tour of the season in downtown Enid.
Cactus Jack takes the tour group to various landmarks downtown, where characters from Enid’s past give presentations about historical events.
The group gathers at 10 a.m. at Cherokee Strip Conference Center, 123 W. Maine. Reservations must be secured ahead of time by calling (580) 242-2233. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children.
‘Til Beth Do Us Part’

Gaslight Theatre, 221 N. Independence
Gaslight Theatre will present a second round of showings of “Til Beth Do Us Part” today through Sunday.
The play is a comedy for people of all marital statuses, whether single, married or divorced.
Cast list includes: Tammy Wilson as Suzannah Hayden, Justin Werner as Gibby Hayden, Penny Dowell as Margo James, Nikki Nixon as Beth Bailey, Xander Singleton as Hank Russell and Debbie Kretchmar as Celia Carmichael. The play is directed by Larry King.
