STILLWATER, Okla. —
Stillwater Police Department and Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics arrested 26 people on prostitution-related charges during a two-day sting.
Operation Dragon Slayer is a prostitution sting law enforcement carried out Wednesday and Thursday aimed at illegal prostitution activity in Stillwater, said Stillwater Police spokesman Capt. Randy Dickerson.
Police arrested 15 men and 10 women during the sting. Of those, 10 men are accused of engaging or offering to engage in prostitution. Seven of the women are accused of engaging in prostitution, according to police. One person arrested during the sting was apprehended on public intoxication and drug charges.
Other charges in the sting include pandering, accessing a computer to violate state statutes, possession of marijuana, resisting arrest, public intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled dangerous substance, according to police.
