OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma City police have identified a body found by Earth Day volunteers who were picking up litter in the Stinchcomb Wildlife Refuge near Lake Overholser.

Police say volunteers discovered the body Saturday in the 6900 block of North Morgan Road. On Wednesday, police identified the victim as 22-year-old Karen Natalia De Leon of Oklahoma City.

Police say her cause of death is still pending with the state medical examiner's office. Authorities say De Leon was reported missing by her mother on April 6.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Oklahoma City police.
