Limousine, Mustang pulled from Claremore Lake

CLAREMORE, Okla. — Authorities pulled a limousine and a Mustang from the bottom of Claremore Lake after a fisherman using a sonar device discovered the vehicles.

Lt. Chief Investigator Chuck Goad says the vehicles were retrieved from the water Monday.

The Mustang was reported stolen in 2011, but Goad says no one ever reported the limousine stolen. The limousine is a Lincoln from the late 1980s with tags from 1993.

Sgt. Wayne Stinnett says authorities are investigating how the vehicles ended up at the bottom of the lake. No arrests have been made.
