ENID, Okla. —
Enid’s Abby Resendiz will be going for her fourth-straight top 10 finish today at the Putnam City North Invitational cross country meet.
Resendiz, in her first two-mile outing last week, was eighth at the Owasso Ramble with a time of 14:02. Resendiz had been bothered much of the season “with a banged up toe.’’
“I’m really proud of what she’s done,’’ said Enid coach Joe Miranov. “I’m hoping that success will continue.’’
Resendiz will be joined in the Pacers lineup by Tyler Berge, Arely Ramirez, Irene DelaTorre, Crystal Rangel and Kirstyn Mazza. The boys will go with a lineup of Garrett Wallace, Gavin Lack, Jake Taylor, Nate House and Ethan Atwood. The Plainsmen will be running a full three-mile course for the first time this season.
The race will be run at Woodson Park, which is a “pretty flat course,’’
