ENID, Okla. —
Some 20 teams are expected to compete in today’s Fairview Invitational, which will open the high school track season in the area.
“It will be the usual suspects,’’ said Fairview coach Jim Blevins about the field. “There’s always some surprises, but it will be a good bunch.’’
Blevins said he’s pleased with his team’s numbers, but “we’re not near where we want to be.’’
Field events begin at 10 a.m. Running prelims start at 10:30 p.m., with the finals scheduled for the afternoon.
