ENID, Okla. — Breck Clark had 18 points as Northern Oklahoma College Enid’s women’s basketball team defeated Southwestern Kansas JV 92-64 Monday at the Mabee Center.

The Lady Jets, who had five players foul out against Independence, Kan., Saturday, committed 21 fouls Monday, but were adjusting better to the new rules involving women’s basketball.

“The girls are still learning how to play it,’’ NOC Enid coach Scott Morris said. “We’re still making adjustments. We’re making the best of it.

Thirteen different players scored for the Lady Jets. Katie Barnhart (12) and Kori Barrios (11) joined Clark in double figures.

“We played well,’’ Morris said. “We shot the ball well. We were really moving it into the shooters’ hands. We’re still adjusting how to play defense without fouling as much. I’m proud of their effort in that regard.’’

Bailey VenJohn had 16 points for the Lady Moundbuilders. Burlington’s Tiffany Rieger had 14 points. Waukomis’ Kayla Lovell had eight.

The Lady Jets (2-1) are back in action at 6 p.m. Thursday when they host Cowley (Kan.) College in the first half of a women’s-men’s doubleheader at the Mabee Center.
