ENID, Okla. — Wrestling parents

meeting Sunday



There will be a meeting for parents of all middle school and high school wrestlers  at 4 p.m. Sunday at Emerson Middle School cafeteria. For information, contact Jory Dick at (580) 748-2244 or Ralinda North at (580) 554-2765.



EJRT players to be

admitted free with jersey



All 3rd- through 6th-grade EJRT football players wearing their team jersey will be admitted free to tonight’s Enid vs. Stillwater football game. EJRT teams will be recognized between the first and second quarters of the game.

 The Gridiron Club and Greybeards will be serving free Domino’s pizza and a drink before the game at 6:30 to EJRT team members. The pre-game meal will be at the southwest corner of the stadium.



Greybeards to hold

tailgate party tonight



The Enid Greybeards are hosting a tailgate party tonight before the Enid vs. Stillwater football game. They will be serving hamburger or hotdog baskets, which includes chips, cookie and a drink, for $5 from 5:15 p.m. to 7:15 north of D. Bruce Selby Stadium on Iowa. All Plainsmen fans are invited. The west practice field parking will be closed due to halftime fireworks. All proceeds benefit the Enid football program.



Four Fairview players on

all-region softball team



Fairview landed four players on the small school all-region softball team announced earlier this week.

Lady Jackets making the team were outfielder Rylan Geiger, catcher Dossanna Miller, pitcher Drew Kay and utility player Olivia Mason.

Other area players making the team were Ringwood catcher Alex Hayes, Pond Creek-Hunter outfielder Carly Farmer, Drummond pitcher Tristan Armour, Waukomis utility player Katy Kokojan, Ringwood utility player Bailey Folger and Mooreland shortstop Kayla Wilson.

Mooreland’s Luke Thompson, a former Pioneer star, was named the small school coach of the year.
