Four players scored in double figures as NOC Enid’s men clinched at least third place in the Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference with a 79-69 win over Carl Albert in the regular season finale at the Mabee Center Thursday.
In the women’s game, the Lady Jets matched their highest offensive production of the season in a 97-44 rout.
The Jets, 12-6 in conference and 21-9 overall, would finish second in conference if league leader Eastern beat Connors. Results of that game were unavailable at press time.
Kyndall Dudley, Travis Carbajal and Dalen Qualls all had 12 points for the Jets. Xavier McClish had 10. NOC Enid raced out to a 42-23 halftime lead and never looked back.
“We came out with good energy,’’ said NOC Enid assistant coach Ryan Mahoney. “To finish 12-6 in conference with this much youth and inexperience (only three sophomores) is a good accomplishment.’’

NOC Enid, hitting 10-of-18 3-pointers, raced off to a 61-21 halftime lead. The Jets started five sophomores in honor of sophomore night.
“The girls came out with a lot of energy and they were ready to play,’’ said Lady Jets coach Scott Morris. “We moved the ball real well.’’
NOC Enid will play the winner of the Carl Albert-Western game in the first round of the conference tournament next week.
