ENID, Okla. —
The defending Central Football League champion Enid Enforcers (6-1) will be going for their second-straight title when they travel today to face the Joplin (Mo.) Crusaders.
The Enforcers advanced to the championship game by defeating the Kansas Cougars 31-8 last week at D. Bruce Selby Stadium.
Joplin handed Enid its only defeat earlier this season, 31-28. This will be the Enforcers’ fourth trip to the CFL title game in the past six years since joining the league.
Today’s championship game is slated for a 7 p.m. kickoff at Missouri Southern University’s Fred G. Hughes Stadium.
